Top 10 games for children

There are many new games on store shelves along with the favorites you played with your family and friends. Monopoly, Snakes and Ladders and Chinese Checkers were the favorites in my home. Being the youngest in a family of five often meant I was often the first person to lose!
Competitive and cooperative games have many benefits for children, see below:

Basic language, math and memory skills improve.
They help a child’s ability to concentrate, reason, think critically or creatively.
Social interaction with family and friends helps with bonding.
Helps children to improve communication skills.
Children learn to use words of encouragement from parents modeling.
